I have been an avid fly fisherman for over fifty years and a fly fishing guide and instructor for the past twenty -- One of the biggest inconveniences I have encounter while fishing with friends and clients has been transporting assembled rod and reels from one location to another. Usually we would be required to partially disassemble them before loading them into the truck or SUV. Invariably hooks would become stuck in the vehicles interior fabric or lines and leaders would become intertwined necessitating time consuming disentanglement efforts or cutting off and starting over when arriving at the mew destination. I would rather be fishing and so would by friends and clients. There had to be a better way! Enter Professor Bodkin and his new creation “the Rod Sticker. All you do is wet it and stick to the top of your windshield, place the reel under the windshield wiper and snap the rod into the holder. VOILA! Good to go! When arriving at your new destination simply take the assembled rod and reel out of the jaws of the sticker, lift the windshield wiper to free the reel and rod but and go fishing-no tangles-you can also simply stick the device on the side of your vehicle when you are preparing to fish and tie on leaders, tippet and other terminal tackle without the rod ending up on the round-give it a try I think you will really like it. - Bob McIntosh
