Professor Bodkin is devoted to serious fishers. We especially cater to fly fishers who value quality products and ease of use, fishers who want to spend their time fishing not jawboning about their equipment. We started business in 1997 and got really serious in 2000. All Professor Bodkin products are proudly manufactured in the USA!

Is there really a Professor Bodkin? Well yes, he's a fly fishing fanatic who has fished from Alaska to Florida and from Maine to Cabo San Lucas. Prof Bodkin is old enough to know that any day spent fishing is a good day and young enough to believe that "the big one" is still out there. He’s not a professor in the collegiate sense of the word but his innovative, customer-oriented approach to product design demonstrate that all the years of "doing research" (fishing) make him a learned soul.

Oh, you ask about the stunning red-head in the Prof Bodkin photos, she's our daughter, so don't get any weirdo ideas. Our mascot - well, that would be Annie, a black standard poodle - a true outdoorswoman and devotee of watching Prof Bodkin doing his R&D.
